Corgi Logo

A new dog care business needed a logo, and the owner wanted it to look like his own pet.

My goal was to create a multi-color logo based on a photo of the dog.

The first step was to reduce the corgi’s silhouette to basic shapes, while keeping the main features, like the big ears sitting a bit lower than usual for this breed, and the fur patterns. Then, the shapes were merged and filled with color.

A couple of finishing touches, like sparks in the eyes and on the nose, really helped to bring the image to life.

The finished image was simple enough to be used as a logo, but still resembled the client’s pet.
